 Policy of DRCI Research Community LLP 

1. Purpose and Mission
The purpose of DRCI Research Community LLP is to foster collaboration, innovation, and excellence in research across various disciplines, providing a platform for researchers, scholars, and professionals to engage in groundbreaking projects and share knowledge.

2. Vision
To be a leading research community driving advancements in various fields and contributing to the global body of knowledge through collaborative efforts.

3. Values

• Encourage      Collaboration: We promote teamwork and interdisciplinary approaches to      research.
• Fostering      Innovation: We encourage new ideas and creative solutions to      challenges.

4. Operations and Activities

• Research      Projects: All members are encouraged to participate in ongoing research      projects, and new projects will be initiated based on community interests      and needs.
• Events      and Conferences: DRCI will host periodic conferences, seminars, and      workshops to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and foster networking      opportunities.
• Publication:      Research findings from DRCI will be published in peer-reviewed journals      and shared within the academic community.
• Current      operations of this organization is in association with the partner      institute Drona Seeker. 

5. Membership
Membership to DRCI is open to individuals and organizations with a focus on research. Members must adhere to the Code of Conduct and actively contribute to the objectives of the community.

6. Funding and Resources

• DRCI      will seek funding from grants, donations, sponsorships, and partnerships      with academic institutions and industry leaders.
• Financial      management will ensure transparency and accountability in the allocation      of resources.

7. Confidentiality and Intellectual Property
All research data and results produced within the DRCI community will be managed with respect to confidentiality agreements and intellectual property rights.

DRCI Research Community LLP was initially known as the Design Research Council of India (DRCI). It’s a non-profit organization runs in LLP mode and current authorised signatories are Ms. Srimanti Ganguly (Hony. Treasurer & Partner/ Director, DRCI Research Community LLP) and Mrs. Aparna Chowdhury (Partner/ Director, DRCI Research Community LLP). 

Bylaws of DRCI Research Community LLP

Article I: Name and Formation
The name of the organization is DRCI Research Community LLP. This organization is formed in accordance with the laws governing limited liability partnerships in India, and the principal office shall be located in Sheoraphuli, Hooghly, West Bengal.

Article II: Purpose and Objectives
The LLP is formed to pursue the following objectives:

• Facilitate      collaborative research.
• Promote      the dissemination of research findings.
• Provide      a platform for academic and professional development.

Article III: Members

• Eligibility:      Any individual or organization involved in research is eligible for      membership.
• Admission:      Membership shall be granted upon submission of an application and approval      by the Management Committee.
• Rights      and Responsibilities: Members have the right to participate in all      activities of DRCI. They must adhere to the organization's code of conduct      and actively engage in research efforts.
• Termination:      Membership may be terminated due to violation of policies, unethical      behavior, or failure to contribute to ongoing research efforts.

Article IV: Management and Governance

• Management      Committee: The management of the LLP will be overseen by a committee      comprising senior researchers, administrators, and key stakeholders.
• Officers:      The officers of DRCI will include a Director, Treasurer, and Secretary,      responsible for the operational, financial, and administrative functions      respectively.
• Decision      Making: Decisions related to research projects, funding, and policy      changes will be made by the Management Committee.

Article V: Meetings

• Annual      General Meeting (AGM): An AGM will be held annually to review      progress, discuss strategic goals, and engage members in decision-making.
• Special      Meetings: Special meetings may be called by the Management Committee      as necessary.

Article VI: Financial Provisions

• Funding      Sources: The LLP may receive funds through membership fees, grants,      donations, and partnerships.
• Accountability:      All financial transactions will be documented, and an independent auditor      will review the accounts annually.
• Profit      Distribution: As a non-profit entity, any surplus funds will be      reinvested into research activities or community development.
• No/Zero      Refund Policy: after successful payment of registration fees /      membership fees/ donation to the  DRCI      Research Community LLP, no money shall be refunded to the person or organization      paid money for above mentioned purposes. 

Article VII: Dispute Resolution
Any disputes between members will be resolved through mediation or arbitration, as agreed upon by the involved parties.

Article VIII: Amendments
These Bylaws may be amended by a majority vote of the Management Committee or by a resolution passed at the AGM.
